As you are [tag]coaching football[/tag] you are always searching for good general practice drills for any size team. Here is a great hand off drill that will allow 1 coach to keep 9 to 25 players busy! When perfected this drill is also good for conditioning.
Player 1 starts with the ball, following the path to the X and hands off to player 2 who takes an outside path to the Y where he hands of to player 3 coming back the other way. Player 3 hands off to the next player2, who then takes the outside path and hands off to the next player1 at his Y.
The [tag]football coach[/tag] can watch each exchange with very little movement, and each player gets practice receiving and handing off the [tag]football[/tag] from both sides.
You can also run 2 or 3 players at a time to practice fakes and hand offs at the same time.(i.e. fake 1 hand 1 fake 1)
