It is important for offensive linemen to learn to drive block, and continue driving for the entire play. This is a great football drill to use in high school football practice and hones the skills of the offensive linemen.
This is a drill that is often used in college football practice. It will reward the offensive linemen who fire out of their stance and drive their block for 10 yards.
A good drill for flag football coaching is Protect the Flag. Lineman need to learn to hold a block – both in pass protection and on run blocks.
