Conditioning Drills for Football – Stance & sprint
Here is one of my favorite conditioning drills for football. I use it as a “cool down” drill for the entire team. I like to do at the end of football practice.
Football Offense – Handoff Drill
One of the football offense drills that I like to use is a handoff drill. This football drill also helps with conditioning, and the kids don’t get bored with conditioning.
Fun Football Blocking Drills – Body Posture & Drive Blocking
Try these fun football blocking drills with your youth football team. After mastering the base stance I turn my focus to teaching body posture during the drive block.
Flag Football Drills – Flag Pulling
After coaching flag football for a few years now, I’ve noticed that one of the things a lot of kids do in the beginning is once they get touched, they stop running regardless, even if their flags are still on them. I came up with these flag football drills to address this.
Football Training Drills – Defensive Quickness Drills
A big part of being a good football defensive player is quickness (your ability to cut off an offensive player, your ability to slide out into the passing lane, etc.). Try these football training drills to increase your quickness; you’ll be a better defender.
