As a coach of 8 yr old boys in NFL Flag Football I would like to share a   couple of [tag]flag football drills[/tag] that I use with my team. I love that feeling of not being able to wait to get to the kids in practice and show them a couple of new [tag]football drills[/tag].

Drill 1)
I set up cones to mark and area 20 yards X 20 yards. Have three kids with the [tag]football[/tag] and their flags on. When I blow the whistle the other 10 kids have got to pull both of the flags off each of the three receivers.

Once their flags get pulled the receivers step out of bounds. The drill is over when all 6 flags are pulled. Then we have 3 different kids run the [tag]football drill[/tag] again and rotate until everyone has gone twice.

Drill 2)
This next [tag]flag football drill[/tag] is a relay that I use to help with the exchange of the ball between quarterback and the center.

Mark off 30 yards.
The center starts with the ball.
Quarterback yells set hike and gets the ball from the center.
Then the center stays where he was.
The quarterback gets in front of the center then he becomes the new center. They continue until they get to the other end of the field.
Kind of like leap frog. I think it helps the quarterback know what the center is experiencing and vice versa.
