From Jeff…
Well here is a simple football coaching tip that I picked up from a seven year old lineman!

One day after football practice, I was driving my son home after practice and he mentioned to me that he, as a lineman, never gets the chance to touch the ball. I ran it by his football coach one day and he agreed that was a great idea to include every kid in ball handling drills. No child shall leave practice without holding or touching the football.Football Coaching Tips

No matter what football drill or technique you’re teaching, every child should get the feel of the ball. We make it a habit that all kids, regardless of the position they play; get the chance to touch the ball.

From Jimmie…
One thing that helps with players appreciating what their teammates do is have each position practice in another position for about 15 mins. This is done in preseason in order to get the time in before really game planning. For instance, I’ll have lineman run routes against corners, and have DB’s pass blocking against linebackers…you get the picture…
