From Mike…
football agility drill (timed): it can be used during individuals or stations, top one or two from each group represent their group in a final. Winning group excluded from sprints or whatever conditioning at end of practice.
Equipment needed:
Tackle sled (one man)
Agility Ladder
Football
5 long hit bags
5 cones
Course 50yrds
Start line 5 yrds away one man tackle sled
10 yrds away agility ladder (vertical)
3 yrds away football
3 yrds away pads (4) staggered so they can be hurdled
5 yrds away first cone second 2 yrd back and over

From start line run to tackle sled drive thru and lift (drive and drop) run to ladder, foot in each box, pick up ball, hurdle pads, run around outside of each cone and stiff arm pad. At end after pad, run to finish line to score td and end course.
Drill can be very competitive and a lot of fun also allows to see speed/agility improvements as season progresses.
