This is a pattern that many [tag]football[/tag] [tag]players[/tag], once they learn it in their youth, take the habit with them into higher levels.
What you need – Two lines of players throwing the ball back and forth.
How this drill works – This is more of a habit-forming [tag]football drills[/tag], and what it entails is a series of movements that a ball carrier should do when they receive the ball from a pass (every time).
The player will catch the ball, tuck it down into a carrying position, and then when it is secured, the player will tap the top of the ball.
Result – These football drills will help players get used to [tag]catching[/tag] the ball, securing and then tapping it so they know they have the ball secure.
