A football play I like to use on defense is what I called a Full-Slant.
I load the line with no one over the center, since it’s a league we don’t play anyone over the center. I have the guards slant toward the center on each side and then I have the tackles slant in on the guards.
I have the ends slant in on the tackles. I place a linebacker on each side of the line to go straight in for whoever has the football, full steam ahead since the lanes are clogged up. Mainly the back runs right into the linebacker.
I have the corners cover the receivers going out and the safety to pick up the tight end. With the speed the linebackers use it always comes up with either loss of yards or creating a fumble or a short pass that gets intercepted from the pressure.
