Special thanks to Kevin for sending this one in.   If you’re struggling to come up with [tag]youth flag football plays[/tag],   try this out!

Youth Flag Football PlaysWith younger kids just learning the [tag]flag football[/tag] game, we line up our huddle to mimic our basic [tag]football[/tag] offensive set (7 man flag).   So from left to right it’s RECEIVER, RECEIVER, RECEIVER, CENTER and SLOT.

The QB stands next to me and the RB stands on the end. We have them face the football which is the direction we are going. With the [tag]football coach[/tag]es on the field in this league I call the play from the huddle. So I have them look past me at the line and they can visualize their location on the line of scrimmage. Even a different set is no problem. If their head was down in a tight circular huddle they have to come out of the huddle, get oriented, and then figure out where they’re headed.

Our first game was yesterday, we had no off sides, no delay of games and each play they were in the right place.
