From Mike…
Here is my suggestion:
Oklahoma Drill –
4 players, all positions.
This football drill teaches tackling, blocking, and running schemes.
Set up area about 10 feet wide with cones. They have to stay in the cones.

Two players line up on offense and defense lineman positions; the other two players fill running back and defensive back positions.  Give the running back the ball, blow the whistle and the play begins just like a regular play.

The objective is to prevent the running back from getting through the defensive lineman and defensive back.  The offensive lineman is to block the defensive lineman out of the play, while the running back attempts to get by the defensive back and stay within the cones. Switch positions.

Our boys loved this full contact drill and it really helped build skills.
