From Bill…
Here is my contribution in the form of a football play that has been highly successful for me at youth and the high school level. I call it the toss reverse pass.

The toss can be from any formation best protected with two backs. Toss is accomplished by reverse out from quarterback to tail back. Tail back counters and comes back to center hole and hands the football back to the QB who trailed the inital pitch and rolls out and hits the tight end on a corner route.

The key is to have the outside receiver go in motion prior to snap or to come following the snap as if a reverse was coming to occupy the corner which clears out the corner flat for the tight end. This is good for 20 yard completion most every time especially against an aggressive Defensive Line blocking can be straight zone or guard pull like the sweep.

It is only important to keep the roll out side end contained either Full back or pulling guard the QB must get outside him and should have unobstructed view with run option if tight end is covered.
