John, one of my subscribers, came up with some great suggestions for [tag]football training equipment[/tag] that doesn’t break the budget and works great. Keep ”˜em coming!
From John”¦
I want to share an idea that I used for our Pop Warner [tag]football[/tag] team a few years back.
This involves a relatively cheap way for [tag]football coach[/tag]es to supply their teams with “step over’s”. They can use five “step over’s” to run different agility/footwork [tag]football drills[/tag] that will benefit their teams all season long.
The Idea: Purchase 25 swimming pool 5 foot tubular float devices (should cost about $50).
–Assemble each of 5 devices stacked as a pyramid when viewed “on-end”.
–Tie together with ½ inch nylon “slip-straps” purchased at any hardware store. Usually secure near ends and in middle of your “step-over”.
–Place duct tape around nylon straps to guard against abrasions if a kid falls on the “step-over” during a [tag]football drill[/tag].
There you have it, a safe, effective and cheap way to provide your kids with a great [tag]football training[/tag] aid practice station that can be used season after season.
