Take a look at this submission from Bob. A great example of a [tag]tackling drill football[/tag] that can work with all age groups.
From Bob”¦
[tag]Tackling[/tag] Drill””
Lay 5 [tag]blocking[/tag] dummies on the ground, side by side.
Have 1 player stand in front of the bags to be tackled; one player waiting to take his place.
The rest of the players are the [tag]tacklers[/tag].
The [tag]tackler[/tag] runs 5 yards full speed and makes a right or left shoulder tackle.
Then he becomes the waiting tackler and so on.
You can use this [tag]football[/tag] [tag]drill[/tag] without pads by putting a stand up dummy in place of a player. I have done this in the spring and in the fall.
